Brands of peanut butter and almond butter recalled due to possible salmonella contamination

Some brands of peanut butter and almond butter sold in the U.S. and to some other countries were recently recalled due to possible salmonella contamination, THV11 reported on August 19.

nSpired Natural Foods, Inc. was recently notified of four possible contaminants found in several different retail food products. The possible bacterial contamination in these products was confirmed after a routine test performed by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration. Consumers are advised to immediately discard the recalled food products and call nSpired Natural Foods to get a refund or product replacement. Aside from the U.S., the recalled products were also sold in UAE, Canada, Hong Kong, and the Dominican Republic.
