After undergoing several surgeries, a boy who was attacked by a vicious dog in Jones months ago is now recovering, as reported by The Clanton Advertiser on Monday, November 4.
Intensive facial surgeries were required to restore the mangled face of Billingsley High School freshman Tristan Scott after he was attacked by a pitbull on September 10. Surgeons had to get skin from Tristan’s mouth to restore the nasal passage up to the skull and some skin from another part of the face was used to restore other parts of his injured face. Tristan’s mother Janell said her son sustained serious face injuries from the pitbull owned by their relatives.
The vicious attack happened when Tristan went to his cousin’s house to watch movie.
