Multinational toy company Toys R Us voluntarily recalled a toy trunk for girls after it was found to cause injury to its intended users, a report on Sunday, September 29 stated.
The recall affects the 21-inch tall “Journey Girl Travel Trunk” that may hold an 18-inch-tall doll. The purple travel trunk that comes with three clothes hangers and a blue design has a blue metal handle that may cut the hands of its users. People who have bought the recalled item, which were released from October last year through February this year, are advised to put the toy out of children’s reach to prevent them from being injured and immediately return the product for a refund.
Sustaining laceration wounds from recalled toys can be devastating, both for parents and children.
