Titus kindergartener hit and killed by car

Ethan Marshall Woods, 5, of Titus was killed on Tuesday, Jan. 10 after being struck by a car while waiting for the school bus.

Woods was hit by an SUV at the intersection of Titus and Thornton Roads.  He was a kindergartener at Wetumpka Elementary School.  Alabama state police are still investigating the accident.

According to the Department of Public Safety, a blood sample was taken from the driver, and the case will be handled by the Elmore County district attorney and a grand jury.
