CNN anchor dies in car crash

Stanley Wright Case, 59, of Atlanta, died Tuesday afternoon in a car accident in Birmingham.

According to police, a truck crossed a median and hit Case head-on during a rainstorm.  Case was a news anchor for CNN radio since 1985. His wife was in the car during the accident, and was sent to a hospital where she is now being treated for injuries.

No charges have been filed, and police are still investigating the incident.
